March Madness

From Easter Bunnies to Dust Bunnies its been a busy end of the month for us here at the Pea Place. Starting with a celebration of St. Patricks, we (egg) rolled right into Easter. All the while, working on our house to get ready to sell. We were lucky enough to have Scott's sister the beloved Aunt Robin come up and entertain our little ones while we tackled the basement and other thankless tasks. Photo hightlights of the last few weeks are below!

We're not Irish, but who can resist green?

Bibbity Bobbity Boo!

Its called the happiest place on earth. And for the most part its true, though being happy comes with a lot of tears. Luckily, a polyester dress and a ton of glitter can lift the spirts of the sleepiest preschooler. LilPea was happy to be along for the ride and ride she did all over three theme parks, two airports and countless monorails. Scott and I are still recovering. Still it was a great time and I am sure we'll treasure these memories. Especially the part where CPea declared, "Rides are DISTGUSTING, Mama!" I'm not sure how that will affect my campaign to be Parent of the Year. Luckily its only March and with a cross country move in my future, the judges will surely take pity on me.

On our first day, CPea was invited to drive the Monorail-how great was that! She did a fine job!

For those of you with sons, congratulations. You have just saved yourself quite a bit of money by opting out of the Disney princess empire.

My napping beauties
CPea on her favorite ride, we rode them six times. It was the only thing she wanted to do in the whole magic kingdon. Mickey will need to up his game next time. That or the Disney staff can stop annoucing what may scare children while in line. As soon as she heard that there was darkness, CPea refused to go. Scott and I now have a greater appreciation of the cocktail concession stands.

And, my first attempt to add a video.

After a long day of being a princess, CPea had this to say on our way back to the hotel room. My heart breaks a little every time I see it.

I Love LA!

We've just returned from a week in Florida with Mickey Mouse. While gone, we heard that the Coast Guard is sending us to Long Beach, CA!

HOORAY!

Disney photos will be coming soon.

What Not to Wear

Just the other day, CPea started dressing herself. Head to toe. Below you will find two variations of her latest ensemble.

"Mom, this outfit is so, so stylish!"

"This is my lobster and tutu outfit. It looks great!"
I'm a big believer in letting kids experiment with their own style and abilities, so I have no problem with CPea looking like the best crustacean ballerina this side of the Mississippi.
But what would Stacy and Clinton say?
